Somerset Feed the Sheep Experience!
We have a small flock of native breed Wiltshire Horn sheep on the farm.
Why not meet the girls up close during your Somerset glamping stay...?
If you'd like to get up close and meet Moppet, Mabel, Dilly, Dora and the rest of the girls, then the best way is to tempt them to you with a couple of scoops of their favourite food.

During certain months of the year the girls will be in the meadows surrounding the hut, and if you would like to feed them, then we will provide their feed trough outside of the hut (at a suitable distance) and a bucket of feed.

All you need to do is shake the bucket and shout 'Come on girls!' and they will run over to meet you!
During March and April we start lambing. If you would like to meet the girls and their new babies, then you will have the opportunity to feed them in the paddocks next to the farm, at a time that we will arrange to suit you.

Please note that if the lambs are out in the fields with their mothers, it is unlikely that you will be able to hold them, as they are already pretty fast and nimble by then!
